Earlier in the month, we got a pleasant surprise when Nintendo dropped a mini Direct focusing on games coming to the Switch for this year. Among those were a slew of ports from 2K of series that had never been on Nintendo system in the past. Borderlands Legendary Collection is set bring the looter shooter titles on the go, and they seem to be putting in a solid effort.
Turn Me Up is one of the developers on the collection, and on their website they state they’re working with 2K and Gearbox to bring the games to the Switch in the best way possible. They state the games will be presented in full 1080p HD as well as 30 frames per second. While these are obviously a bit on the older side, it’s still nice to have. The Switch versions will also apparently have added motion controls tailored for this collection.
Borderlands Legendary Collection will include enhanced versions of Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, along with all their respective DLCs. It launches May 29th on the Switch.
