The final Pokemon in the Gen 7 Pokédex, Zeraora, has been revealed. Zeraora is an anthropomorphized wolf-like creature that is an Electric Type. Much like other Pokemon that conclude the Pokedexes for their region, he is a Mythical, and will be available only via distributions. He will also be the star of the upcoming Pokemon movie, that launches in Japan later this year (and presumably, the rest of the world as well).
Zeroara’s reveal is important for another reason—with him finally being revealed, and his arc playing out in the anime, movies, games, and merchandizing, it means that generation 7 of Pokemon– the generation that was encompassed by Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon—is now finished. This means that nothing now stands in the way of the next generation, which will presumably be what the Switch game will turn out to be. In simple terms—the next time there is a major Pokemon related announcement, it should be regarding the Switch game.
Zeraora will come to Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon (not Sun/Moon) only later this year. You can check out the trailer revealing him for yourself below.
