Nintendo surprised a lot of people when it announced back in March that it would be teaming up with indie developer Brace Yourself Games of Crypt of the NecroDancer fame to release a crossover between the rhythm title and their own The Legend of Zelda, with Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer.
The rhythmic action adventure title was slated for a Spring 2019 release, but now it looks like we might know exactly when that’ll be. As Twitter user @NWPlayer123 discovered, the source code for the game page of Cade of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer was recently changed by Nintendo of America, and the code is now showing the release date as May 30, 2019, which is literally two days from now. You can see a picture of it below (via Nintendo Life).
If this does indeed happen, it very well might end up being a shadow drop. If it’s not shadow dropped, that means there’s going to be an announcement very soon. Of course, there’s also the chance that the release date mentioned isn’t accurate and this was all a huge mistake. Either way, stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.
