They (Sledgehammer Games) are just now hiring for positions to start developing COD: 2014 (according to VG247.com and “Gamasutra” Job hub). Not only is that the case, but Modern Warfare was an Infinity Ward development. On top of all this, you’re going to try and convince me that Activision has brought in a trifecta of developers, to just create the same two franchises? Infinity Ward left Modern Warfare complete with #3 and has moved on to a new story for a reason, because MW is FINISHED. Treyarch will most likely continue its franchise and Sledgehammer games I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt will use MW to launch its COD premiere. I’m very sure they have a whole new story to tell. Some “insider” saying they have this and that when they are still hiring is fishy and unreliable.
