Well they only annonced dedicated servers at E3 2013, but really they used a Hybrid approach. Some hacker took screenshots of Activisions server use and indeed saw P2P. But hey I hope we all get dedicated servers man. Activision now has a good excuse to provide them…….not only do they have COD, but Destiny now.

They weren’t true dedicated servers in Ghosts. It was server hubs that picked host, and they took away the ability to see how good your connection was. Speaking of no parity, obviously using Microsoft’s Azure servers would be a big benefit for the Xbox version.

I highly doubt what I played last year on Ghosts used dedicated servers. In fact some guy went snooping around into Activision’s servers and found they were still P2P lol. Was it Ali-A reporting about this on Ytube? Matroix? Can’t remember. But it was only announced at E3, but they didn’t use them, c’mon.

Now, THIS IS WANT I DREAMED OF JUST LAST NIGHT! Lol. Nah, but this is super great news for me man. Black Ops 2 was my first luv, but broke my heart with the connection issues. This is a great surprise. Somehow, someway, I believe SledgeHammer. Haha

Now I do think when they say, “Providers and platforms will be announced” means PC and X1, imo. But I’d never wish for anyone on PS4 to deal with a subpar connection. It would be massively funny if PC and PS4 got support. I’d be jumping off the casino rooftops lol. But nah, I appreciate them using Xbox Live. All platforms should get what they can flex. Hopefully this will become a trend for all 3rd party support for the new consoles n PC. Time to go slay these dudes again. It’s on. Lol
