No man, Treyarch do not make “mediocre” games. World at War was awesome, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of the best shooters I’ve ever played.

You obviously don’t keep up with gaming news. Treyarch announced AGES ago that their studio, and their upcoming shooter, Black Ops, is 100% Call of Duty, AND it will be based on a script written by IW in 2003.

Treyarch have already confirmed that Black Ops is based on a script Infinity Ward wrote back in 2003 for their own game, so there isn’t any use arguing…

The info you are referencing explains that Black Ops will have the same tried and true Call of Duty gameplay formula that IW started in 2003 with the original Call of Duty.

This entire thing is a repeat of Modern warfare 2, the CoD community is getting HYPED up as hell only to be shot back down once that garbage is released.
Then everyone will hype up the next CoD game as the savior to the series.

However, MW2 had a terrible plot. It had huge plot holes. As for the multiplayer it is incredibly glitchy and very unbalanced. Hopefully Black Ops can fix those things, but so far it is looking like Modern Warfare 2 in the Cold War.
