Take one look at his comment history and you’ll see that he spends ALL his time doing this. He likes to get people that take this stuff seriously all riled up and hes good at it. Everyone takes the bait. I went back and forth with him a couple weeks ago and played along with him for a few rounds. Best thing you can do is block him that way you don’t see what he post on all these sites which is what I’m gonna do as I’ve seen enough of it. Dude never gives up and devotes all his extra time doing this stuff.

Spider-Man was created as the superhero version of “a teenager whose body is changing quickly,” making stuff happen that didn’t before. Example, “hair growing in weird places,” Spidey grows tiny hairs on his hands and that’s how the Spiderstuff works (IIRC and it hasn’t been retconned or something).

So I’ll leave it to you. Spider-Man is a metaphor for awkward teenagers. What else do awkward teenagers find out about? (Think of the scene in the first movie: “Peter, come down for dinner!” *cut to Peter’s room covered in webs* “One second, Aunt May!”).

Or that his skill as Spider-Man seems to increase the closer he gets to Mary-Jane. By that point, he can shoot webs that have a purpose. They save lives (like the streetcar the Green Goblin knocks off a bridge). There’s all kinds of examples of this, like Gwen Stacy being a metaphor for your first love, passionate, fiery, and a dramatic ending, while Mary-Jane and Peter were partners, it just took Pete awhile to figure it out.

And I’m only going off the movies here because the comics lost me with, uh, (not sure if this counts as a spoiler or not), him and MJ have possibly one of the STUPIDEST breakups of all time.
