I agree with Diago. How can he talk smack about the PS3 when his game is a freaking mess on the platform he’s supposed to be an “EXPERT” of with “HIGHER MEMORY” and “BETTER IO PERFORMANCE”.
I’m still waiting for that fix Mr. Carwreck -_-

So… Carmak prefers the 360… whoop-de-doo! Rage still looks superb on the PS3 and his comments mean not a thing to anyone whom have some sort of life…. so just chill and fly.

SO HERE WE HAVE IT, The spoiled fankid blames his tools for his work thats been shit….Wonder if he blames the PS3 for the fucking PC being fucked up as well then.

He blames Sony for this, and for several inferior versions of multiplatform games as compared to the Xbox 360 versions, saying that buffered hard drive IO and little OS memory are the major concerns?

So if thats the case WHY? is Vanquish / GTA IV / Final Fantasy XIII / Bioshock 2 / Dragons age: Origins / BFBC2 / BF3 / Dead Space 1&2 /….Borderlands MUCH better on PS3 than 360?.

I tell ya why. The developers know what they were doing. Look at how VALVE treated PS3, ( Until Valve figured out how to make games for PS3 ) then realised it was in fact better than 360 and it’s network ( Portal 2 proves that fact ). So john carmack is a MS fankid that can’t even make a game with NEW tech-.

In reply to Diago. Diago, do u have anything objective to say or are you just going on a fanboy rant? I own a PS3 and 360. Love em both. John Carmack is a smart guy and he is speaking in technical terms, not anecdotally. Generically saying all of his stuff sucks makes you sound like an upset 13 year old.

He couldnt even get he’s latest amazing “engine” run on high end PC’s..
Its a Blurry Mess on all platdforms.

Carmack hasn’t been rellevent in a decade, all their games suck and are mediocre at best.
Stop taking the dude’s statments as anything other then money talk.
