Lords of the Fallen Publisher Lays off Around 30 More Employees

According to the developer, the Hexworks team remains unaffected with this round of layoffs and will continue to work on Project 3.

CI Games of Lords of the Fallen fame has announced that it will laying off around 30 employees as a part of its restructuring process, as reported by Gamesindustry.biz. This news comes shortly after CI Games laid off 10% of its workforce in January, and the developer states that this will be the final round of layoffs.

According to the developer, this initiative will ensure maximum efficiency across its teams comprising multiple studios. CI Games also stated that work on its Project 3 – an action RPG that was being handled by the Hexworks team remains unaffected by this round of layoffs. Its other development group Underdog Studio will continue to work on ‘Project Survive’ which is set to enter full production pretty soon.

“All affected employees have been informed about this proposal today, and will be fully supported throughout the process over the coming weeks,” a spokesperson said to Gamesindustry.biz.
