CrossFire 2 Story Mode Being Developed By Remedy

Max Payne and Quantum break developers co-developing the next installment in the CrossFire franchise.

Looks like we now know what at least one of the new projects that Remedy have undertaken is- it sounds as though the studio responsible for bringing us Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break will be working with Korean game company Smilegate on the upcoming CrossFire 2.

“The whole team here at Remedy is incredibly excited to be an key partner in developing the future of the CrossFire franchise,” the studio said in an update. “Smilegate specifically chose Remedy to bring our unique blend of storytelling, memorable characters and inventive gameplay to CrossFire’s global audience.”

So it sounds like Remedy will be bringing with them their signature strengths to the game- it also sounds like this is something that they have been working on for a while now.

“We have been developing this project for a while and couldn’t be more excited to show you what we’re working on, so stay tuned for more details later down the line,” they said.

No release date for the game is known as of now. Details on Remedy’s other game remain unknown.
