The ps4 pro is a failure but it’s still the best right now.
I think now that Scorpio is coming more devs will support 4k and it will be better for both pro owners and x owners.
I wish we could leave the old consoles behind but fan boys would cry.

If true that would mean that Sony has never supported a cross console online game with Nintendo or ms.

Yeah it may be crap but it had a superior online service, controller, and it doesn’t make a sound. Unlike the ps4 and ps4 pro which make the 360 sound quiet.
They’re both crappy in their own ways.

Don’t know, I remember them saying they didn’t even know how Xbox live stayed alive so long without breaking because it was all spaghetti coded together. It’s since the Xbox one they re-did the whole Xbox live system to be more modern (I think there’s some articles about that). With that I could see why they would refuse as their system wasn’t up to snuff, there probably was a bunch of open wholes. Anyway I don’t remember there was anything about console to console cross-play back in the day except for final fantasy…..which wouldn’t offer Xbox party system, friend invites, Xbox voice chat etc so I could see why Microsoft would refuse there.

On Sony’s side, I could understand if it’s the case of their psn system not up to snuff in this regard. However, they’re allowing cross-play on some titles with PC but not Xbox so it can’t be that their system isn’t up to par. They’re just blatantly refusing as a number of devs came out and say.

I have friends that went PS this Gen and now they feel like they want to come back to Xbox but they’ve bought a bunch of games for their PS 4 already. Lol one said he feel kind of trapped. I feel it would be cool to play some games with them while on my Xbox and they on their Playstation.

This stupid narrative I’ve seen people online talking about “Sony doesn’t need cross-play”, who cares what Sony needs?? What about what us as gamers need? C
Who cares what a corporation needs? I don’t work for them.
It’s like having cable service and only getting a 100 channels, but fios is offering 200 channels for the same money….but you are going to say “cable doesn’t need to give me more channels because they have a ton of subscribers”

I hear it on all sides. Gamers are still wanting it.
