I know this as ive actually cracked my legal version just to stop it crashing.
what they are doing is like what the army do to a soldier that cant keep up. they punish the whole squad for one man slacking trying to make the pack hate the man. often the pack will hate the man but the clever ones can see that the institution is a fault and are unfair. punish the man sure, but not the rest of us.

The recommended specs are helpful, but aren’t always representative of how the game will run, especially on laptops.

I play demos to avoid blowing a bunch of money on a game I can’t use. I am not willing to pay for that privilege.
