And yet PC’s still managed to get better versions of those games graphically while also having much better fps (Consoles versions tended to be locked to 30 fps). That being said, the Crysis games were still great on consoles and, if anything, should be a reason for people to start focusing on the fun and not on the hardware specs which, in hindsight, are just pieces of plastic and metal that allows the consumer to play the games.

Based on past statements from people at Crytek they seem to be un sure of what technology is capable of like when they said crysis and crysis 2 were not capable on a console. they seem to end up proving them selves wrong time and time again.

7 year old console tech is still able to keep up with current average gaming PCs, whos to say that line wont get a little more blurry down the road.
