In reply to <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/dead-space-3-what-we-want-to-see#comment-93628">Peter</a>.

I just thought that it would be really cool, if there was some sort of secondary or side campaign (mini or full) where you played an infected Unitologist that had some degree of consciousness/awareness as he/she goes through the transformation of becoming a necromorph. Idk where exactly this may or may not lead, but i think it'd be a pretty cool concept; kinda like the game Stubbs the Zombie in the sense you'd be infecting others maybe or who knows what, but either I'd like to see expansion in every direction possible for DS3

Both DS 1 and 2 were great games, regardless of anything that could make them better now. That being said, the first two DS games seemed like opportune threshold games that will lead to an amazing DS 3 with new online /offline co op and vs game modes, weapons (maybe melee weapons), enemies, and even new playable characters. As far as new and refreshing go, I can picture situations where you'll only run into certain enemies once or twice (bosses and/or flat out tough enemies). Since Clarke's character is a miner, there might be non-mechanical (axes, saws, hammers, etc') as well as fuel-powered (jack hammer, chainsaw, etc') melee weapons. Ik I might be getting a bit ahead of myself and carried away, but these are all traits I'd think of which would make the game more intense; there might be sections of the game where you are forced to use melee weapons, forcing you to get close and personal with the necros, which would make the game much more intense. Obviously these are just details that would have to be supporting an improved modified plot, but they'd be worthy attributes nonetheless. Overall, the DS series is amazing, and Im sure DS3 will follow accordingly.

I actually thought the story, the acting, and the fact that Isaac was someone I cared about in the game. I wanted him to get better. I wanted him and Ellie to survive and for him to get over Nicole and move on. It made the game that much better because it added suspense. The last few seconds, which were a replay of the last few seconds of Deadspace, had me on the edge of my seat. Who would he see when he looked to his right?

Video games don't typically move you emotionally, oh sure, they scare you in a genre like this, but this game had more depth and feel to it than just an action horror shooter. And the cut scenes where you get to see Isaac, the voice acting when Nicole asks Isaac where he's going, and he answers with despondency and hopelessness in his voice, "I don't know," left me feeling like I was part of the story.

The melding of movie and game is one step closer in this game, and to my thinking, that's a good thing.
