I preordered RoI because I will certainly be getting my money's worth out of it for probably the next year. But I won't be preordering Destiny 2; nor will I ever pay more than half of the release cost for it. This Sony/Activision exclusivity nonsense is part of why. I refuse to pay the exact same price as a PS4 user while getting insanely delayed content - and possibly not even that.

I completely agree that Puke Smith helming the next game is in absolutely no way a selling point but is yet another reason to skip the Bungie/Activision/Anti-XB1 user business model as it pertains to this franchise. I won't be caught "throwing my money at the screen". Ever.

I only preordered because my friend really likes playing the raids and I like hanging out with them (and since they live a good four hours away, physically hanging out is usually not an option). In truth this game will never rectify its issues until Bungie even recognizes the problems as issues. Until then this will continue to be an incredibly expensive, well produced, well polished, content-starved, poorly designed* mediocre game.

*And don't be fooled; Luke Smith is part of the problem.
