And Sony did it with COD this gen too which is even more ironic. Microsoft tried that tactic again this gen with Tomb Raider and the such but didn’t count on the horrible fail of Xbox One. Sure they had the green to get exclusive rights to game content but they didn’t have the system to back it like the 360. Once the exclusive rights well went dry PS3 soared and ultimately outsold Xbox,this gen PS4 soared out the gate.

Destiny is a new IP,COD wasn’t. So I can understand the complaint back then as it left out alot COD fans who didn’t get to play a game they’ve played before. Destiny didn’t have the luxury of a fanbase that COD does. It might’ve hurt Destiny’s fanbase growth if Xbox One wasn’t a miserable fail.
