Because it was. Both were released around the same time. The new Box is a counter. If Sony revealed a even more powerful console tomorrow then it will be the same. A counter. But in Sony situation its not even needed. The Pro is jus a upgraded Ps4. It wasnt to counter MSoft. MSoft are desperate to push the “most powerful console” tho its jus a upgrade. If this was their first system for this Gen then it would have been a different story all together. But instead its a Hail Mary.
