In reply to yodathe3rd. yea i saw that, as long as they can up the graphics and enhance gameplay mechanics, i'm willing to try it. I have many friends who like this game a lot, so it would be cool to race with them and against them of course. Because the truth is i always go on forums from different games and try to voice my opinion on things that i dont like about games to see if enough people get behind it and the developers change it for the next sequel. Only 4 countries/environments to rally through!? What the hell!? And no Japan/Asian tracks!? What’s that about!? Those usually are the most appealling tracks in these games!

This is some seriously disappointing news. I guess Rallisport Challenge 2 will remain my favourite rally-game.

In reply to aquaman22. yeah, mod nation racers is awesome. that track generator/editor is so easy to use. i wish that it would have been that easy to make a sweet level in LBP1.

In reply to aquaman22. modnation racers is great ..basically mario kart-esk game play in a game on ps3 and the multiplayer is a lot of fun and there are tons of things to cutomize too. if i remember correctly the game has a track generator and builder too right?

aqua they are adding new things like the big parts where you are driving around the obstacles which looks really good im glad to see that the dirt series really looks at the fan and drivers and really takes a lot of input and puts that into the final version of the game and we get so see a really polished product when it comes out.

You know although Dirt looks really cool, and the graphics look impressive, i just can’t get into this game. It just doesn’t have that factor that makes me wanna buy it. I’m not much of a car racer fan to begin with, but a car racing game that i knew i had to have was believe it or not; ModNation Racers. This game is really fun, and you can do so much with it. I do hope they add some interesting elements to this game, may be it’ll motivate me to at least rent it. I liked the only quite a bit from Dirt 2, just not enough to buy the game.

I enjoyed Dirt 2 more then Forza. The atmosphere in Dirt 2 was less redundant and sterile as a regular race game. You feel more a part of the environment instead of sitting on top of it.

Dirt is a great game and there’s always going to be a niche for this title. There are tons of other racing games out there. But a game that tailors to off road racing and does the job well is not common.

Gran Turismo does rally and the racing is really a joke. Dirt 2 is one of the best off road racing games out there and i am sure 3 will pick up right where 2 left off.
