I am just getting around to Doom on the Xbox One and my video quality doesn’t even look half as good as this posted xbox one video clip. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here. All my other games are awesome quality.

This site is full of it, the Xbox One runs mainly at a lower 720p, it’s a BLUR fest. The PS4 hovers closer to 1080p. My God, I put them side by side and XB1 looks like a PS3 game by comparison. And of course, these games are made on PC’s…so yes it looks best. XB1 is by far the most underpowered console ever. Do I hate it, no but yes. I think the S is a step in the right direction, but it’s far from a game changer.

I hope they don’t ditch mega textures. I found the pop-in to be quite good – better than many AAA games that don’t feature mega textures.
Mega textures has real potential when the hardware can pull it off correctly. We can only hope that Zenimax use idtech 6 for more than just in house id games. Bethesda softworks could surely use an upgrade to the creation engine or whatever they call that garbage now.

In reply to Hvd. It's not bias, it's actual proven and obvious results. If the wii-u had a version, i'm sure they would mention the xbox1 handles the game better than it. The Ps4 has superior hardware, and it is capable of a bit more than the xbox1.

That is a fact. You can hate that and not want to believe it all you want, that does not make it any less true. PC owns both peasant consoles, you can hate that too and not want to believe it. In the end, you are just an idiot breathing hot air because you are dumb enough to worship at the alter of a Corporate brand and ignore all else
