Im planning on spending upto about £3000 next year on a new pc, just make an absolute monster 4K gaming machine. But the funny thing is at the moment is regarding the consoles, if a game that Sony or MS hasnt paid to be made and isnt on the PS4 or a game isnt on the Xbox it generally gets put on the PC to. Some dont but if you look over the last couple of years PC gets quite a lot and adding to the fact ALOT of MS 1st partys are coming to PC as well… were the winners in reality.

MS arent putting there 1st partys on PC out the kindness of there heart they need to do it to improve UWP and all that so it will eventually attract 3rd partys to do it IF they sort out the metric ton of problems with it and then they get money from the MS store. Thats there aim for it even though they wont admit it.

Ah right, it kind of read differently. No the consoles aren’t enticing because there still the same closed off platform i don’t like. People play on console for a reason and people play on pc for reason. Maybe if it was ridiculously powerful and I could use mouse and keyboard and multiple other controllers and stuff with it then yeah maybe. But in general nah. These NVIDIA cards are pretty good, just have to wait till end of the month where AMD is officially announcing it’s new gpus

You must think I’m tryin to insinuate something about u. Not at all. But speaking in general, I was just tryin to get a PC gamer’s perspective on wether the new consoles (NEO) are enticing, considering the amount of power these new cards are offering…..

When the NEO drops, and possibly the Xbox 1.5, will u be buying them? If so, why, considering the fact you’ve already got access to cards like the GTX1080 on PC?
