I agree, the Shenmue series is 1 of my favs. I have great news 4 u. It was reported last week on AOTS on G4 that Yu Suzuki said that Sega gave him the go ahead w/ Shenmue III.

In reply to <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/dreamcast-collection-review#comment-64932">tareq salah</a>.

absolutly there are a number of games that are timeless. like donkey kong snes is actually better than the one on the wii. supermario of old are amazing. i think marvel vs capcom 2 is better than 3. you will always have these special titles that can still hold its own against the new generation.

i still think ninja turtles of snes is one of the best games of all time.
i have yet to play a shooter that made me feel like what the first contra did.

but these are special cases. you might still have fun, and i'm glad to see people still appreciate these games, but i feel sad when i play them now thinking that my childhood days arn't coming back.

the problem with games like these, along with all the playstation 1 games they sell on ps3 market is we feel the need to go back to out childhood, when we reallly had fun playing games, and the graphics were amazing back then.

everything was still new and innovative.

but when you try to play these games now, it just doesn't feel the same.
i bought resident evil one and 3 one ps3 market but after a hour of playing it felt old and outdated. the graphics seem too old and bad compared to what we have now.

ps one, 2 dreamcast and super nintendo will always have a place in my heart. and the games i played long time ago will always be better than nowadays games in terms of (fun) when i play them the first time.

but its time to say goodbye to old games.
