A $750 PC (e.g. i5 + 8GFB + GTX750, with cassis, PSU etc.) will play pCARS just fine with good image quality and framerates.

A $1200 PC (e.g. i7 + 8GB + GTX770, with chassis, PSU etc.) will get you the best image quality you generally see around the net at good framerates.

I believe the Battlefield 4 videos everyone saw before launch was using $6000 PCs if I recall correctly.
