EA must realize that the last Nintendo system 2 have a solid 3rd party lineup was the SNES. U buy the new systems 4 the Nintendo titles & that’s pretty much it.

Wii is probably a shifty legacy at this point. Sure they made everyone go into motion gaming. However, they just forgot to market to people who actually have money to buy and play games.

I agree with shas’ I remember when nintendo had games like battletods and bikermice from mars. Wild guns. Nintendo was amazing. But with the wii, they turned to this kids play console. And forgot that most video game fans are adults who demand better games with better graphics and more complex platforming. U can see the wii for so many teens and families. But hardcore fans left for sony and xbox

I feel that in the past few generations Nintendo has stepped away from hardcore gamers (the same gamers that gave Nintendo their legs back in the late 80’s and early 90’s when Nintendo really made a name for itself). To me Nintendo needs to reclaim their roots as top console. This may seem odd seeing as how the Wii tops all current console sales figures, but you have to think about several factors, the Wii is cheaper and is an easy gift to get for someone. While the sell more consoles I fell they have left their original fans in the dust and are selling out to make money.

3DS is all that’s keeping them afloat.
They do need some big innovations for their next home console to keep in touch.
But a legacy?…..I would never think that.
Maybe a legacy for when I was hammered drunk at my friend’s house, but nothing more.

The motion controls are what made this a legacy. The first time I was able to play A rail-shooter at my house instead of needing to spend a few bucks at the arcade…usually Dave and Busters…there’s not many around me.

Can’t wait for the next console, it sounds liek they are going to step their game up and compete more on how a video game console serves to the players instead of just having the cheapest console out there.

i think a legacy in terms of how it hanged the precipitin about videogames.
before the wii came out consoles were fighting in terms of who has the best exclusives. after the wii came with the new motion control, the wii fit and wii sports. the whole world chamged. ps3 started developing the move and xbox went and made the kinect. so i understand how they call it a legacy.
