It’s easy to understand. India is not a good market(any “good” numbers there comes from key sellers really) and EA has more two win by raising the price there even if it mean not selling any more copies there. But the people who use that are of two kinds. “I don’t have the money for 60$ but I still want multiplayer.” and “Piracy is wrong but paying the devs 9times less is not lolz” and forcing these people to buy at a higher price will not stop them to buy. EA can’t just lose billions by fighting the all the VPN industry

This isn’t something ea could fix in origin. The whole point of a VPN is to change your network location. If people are abusing the system then something has to change and unfortunately for India their prices now match the rest of the world. If you wanna blame someone blame the gamers because the number of them abusing this must have been significant. That or the price hike has zero to do with the reasons you stated.
