No… at this point in a console generation, the prices should have already dropped. This is already the longest console generation. When would be atleast pay 50 dollars per game already, it doesn’t cost that much to make the discs anymore.

because people are still buying games. COD, halo, mario are still selling like hot cake so why would games be cheaper. i think as long as people are still buying then the games prices would stay put. maybe we all should boycott games for a year and then they would be for 50 or less, who knows?

I’m not really bothered about online gaming so for arguments sake Homefront would be a complete rip off for me since I would finish it in an afternoon. I would pay 20 quid tops for that. Then if I wanted the online mode I would buy that separately via marketplace for perhaps another 20 quid. Same with CoD. I won’t buy those games cause they are more expensive and again just a 4-5 hour campaign. For multiplayer fans it is good value. CoD fans probably well get their moneys worth with the hours they log online. But for me it’s a complete rip off. Sell me the campaign for half price and sell the multiplayer mode separately.

If something like that was in place for people like me I would buy a lot more games.
