Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes’ Physical Switch Release Has Been Delayed by a Month

In North America and EMEA, the upcoming RPG's physical version will now launch in May, a month after the game's release.

What’s that? There have already been too many new mega RPG releases in 2024? Well, too bad, because there’s plenty more on the horizon. A little over a month from now, Rabbit and Bear Studios’ highly anticipated Suikoden spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be launching for PC and consoles, but unfortunately, those who’re planning on buying a physical version of the game on the Nintendo Switch are going to have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the game than previously announced.

Taking to Twitter, publisher 505 Games recently announced that the physical launch of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes’ Nintendo Switch version has been delayed in North America and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) by a little over a month, and is now set for May 21.

The publisher has also confirmed that those who backed the game’s Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign back in 2020 who are supposed to receive a physical Switch copy among their rewards will be receiving digital codes of the game when it releases to ensure their “adventure begins on time.”

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is due out on April 23 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
