Its simple make the game complete stop making things that belong in the finished product then taking them out and saying oh its DLC. Stop annoucing DLC before the damn game is out, this only pisses people off more. Gamers arent anti -DLC, anti-content or anti-devs profits. What we most diffinately are against? Practices that lead to two thing; incomplete games and milking. Those two thing is exactly what prerelease announcement DLC is. Mass Effext 3 was a good example. It had day one DLC an "extra" prothian character that obviously was supposed to be part of the game, Destiny who had both its "DLC" package obviously ripped out of the main game to resale later as DLC for 20$ a pop. You dont want back lash, you dont want controversy its simple stop looking for ways to milk us and stop rushing out games. Pretty simple.

After the industry's tendencies to milk players for every penny by releasing half completed games for full retail and bundling the rest behind numerous DLC packages, can you really fault us for being anti-DLC?
Many game developers have ruined the idea of DLC for us, by such things as Season Passes that contain content, locking basic game modes, removing characters, and other things that are behind the same pay wall that you're locking Behemoth
