If it is to come out in 2019 then we will hear about it in 2018, mostly because new consoles dev cost are so high, which is one of the reasons why Xbox One X, was delayed though it was not even called Project Scorpio at the time but had a different name. If PS managed to hide the project from every gamer it would come out before the end of the year 2018 anyway because of budget reviews. Any way like I said we will see, I don't think so, actually I hope not so they can learn from Xbox's mistakes but if they do it will be another console they had the opportunity to do right but failed on. Just so you know I think they failed on the Pro the PS4 was great but the Pro was just halfway done, they had the edge on power and support but with the Pro they just rushed it without thinking about current games in dev, the kind of fixed it with boost mode, which is horrible then the issues with fps that should not ever happen on it, it fails to give 1080p@60fps without dropping. Then as for 4K upscaling I can see if you can give a solid fps but 30fps 4K that freezes takes longer load times, even loads in the middle of movement (Skyrim) Like I said they did great with the PS4 but maybe had a seizure during Pro development or else thought they did not need to give their best, kind of hopping for the first one at least it is an excuse.

Yup we for sure won't be hearing anything Major from Sony about PS5 for a while they got their First Party Exclusives on Lockdown for the next 2 years. Spider-Man itself is gonna sell crazy Early 2018. Sonys last 3 Major Exclusives in 2019 are The Last Of Us 2, Death Stranding and i heard Sucker Punches new ip is a cyberpunk melee combat game. Ill for sure get back to u about PS5 when real Legit info is out. Don't forget when in 2013 The Last Of Us launched and then PS4 launched Fall 2013, it'll happen again in 2019 with The Last Of Us 2 and PS5 launching Fall 2019 and as it's also PlayStations 25th Anniversary that Fall.

I have pulled everything I can find from what PS has and is actually saying, the most common thing so far is that they are focused on what they have now, which is good. As for when they announce the console and when they announce the project are two different things, projects tend to start a year ahead and depending on the leaks to press and shareholders meetings often they let us know what the project is just like when they did Project Neo it was about a year ahead of the Pro. As to when the PS4 was announced and when it was shown where two different times as well, the Project about a year before (which we was told it was PS4 just no specs) then them giving info to bring up hype then E3 where they had some actual info, price release dates and more. PS could release a new console in 2019 but w wont know till it happens and fanaticizing about it now dose not real good, and again this is an Xbox One article. Now if you want to speculate on the specs we can, a different way but I am telling you know the reason console architecture works more efficiently for games is because of the architecture going to a PC architecture for a console, for PS would amount to suicide, first everything thing PS has would be playable on PC with little to know effort to PC users, Second consoles use their power more efficiently for games than PCs, which runs backgrorund apps several of which you never know are there. If PS decided to run a new architecture it would change the rules (new as in not going consoles APU or PCs CPU and APU but completely new) then they could hold their individuality and "exclusives" but then because of how the way games are made is set for consoles and for PCs then having a new way would make it had, just like when Xbox added eSRam it was a new way, great idea but eSRam is best used as stand alone or to boost an already stable system it is not normally used in the way that Xbox intended so game devs had a really hard time even with dev kits, and even then they where new because each Xbox One is its own dev kit. (software) If PS goes to a new console in 2019 still think it would not be enough time for watching how the X is doing and they will be rushing because the only thing they would really know is the specs and any idiot can make one with better specs. As to the change of architecture, if they go to a PC set up (which is what that article is saying) or if they come up with a new way it would be exciting to see what will happen considering Xbox had a really good idea that took gddr3 ram to speeds above gddr5 am speeds not much but it was there, just was a mistake because game devs had not experience working with it, hardware wise I still believe it was wrong and complained from the beginning, but they changed CEOs after that anyway and you cant fix a mistake that is already out there without admitting it is a mistake but you can phase it out. Anyway if you come up with any real articles about PS architecture or release dates let me know, and I do mean real because, even if there is a project in the works they often post about it to start hype.

Yeah, I guess the developers aren't too concerned about crowds in a circuit racing game. The crowds in Gran Turismo are real gems, too. I guess everyone's different. Most people will be, you know, racing. But I guess you'll be staring at the crowds.

Maybe you should tell Polyphony and Turn 10 to quit worrying so much about the cars, tracks, physics, and game mechanics.

But perhaps the biggest takeaway I had from the meeting with Mark Cerny was the insight into how Sony views the console generations. PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio have been seen as the beginning of the end of the jump to a new, more capable wave of hardware in favour of intermediate upgrades. What's clear is that Sony isn't buying into this. Cerny cites incompatibility problems, even moving between x86 CPU and AMD GPU architectures. I came away with the impression that PS5 will be a clean break, an actual generational leap as we know it. I do not feel the same about Project Scorpio, where all the indications are that Microsoft attempts to build its own Steam-like library around the Xbox brand, with games moving with you from one console to the next - and eventually, maybe even to the PC.
