No game has been as rabidly speculated over as Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout 4 – except perhaps Half Life 3. Rumours continuously run rampant about when the game could be announced and the last leak that happened only served to confirm the game’s existence.
But is there a chance the action adventure RPG could make an appearance at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany this August? According to the event listings for the convention, it seems that Bethesda plans to make an announcement regarding “action-adventure & RPG”. Keep in mind that this is far from confirmation that Fallout 4 could show up. If anything, we could be seeing news on The Elder Scrolls Online, which is still yet to release for Xbox One and PS4.
Nonetheless, Bethesda has revealed most of its upcoming releases for the year. Doom 4 isn’t an action adventure title or RPG by a long shot, but it’s likely that we could receive an update on the upcoming beta. Will Fallout 4 really be revealed at Gamescom? Let us know what you think.
