In reply to Big Mike. I could write a 20 page paper on all the issues with gamebryo. It was designed during the same era as renderware except instead of programmers they put bird seed on some keyboards and let a bunch of pigeons into the room.

Fallout 4 is nowhere near half life 3 level. What is this sites deal with fallout? Bethesda doesn’t generally announce games until they are under a year or so from release and a game like fallout is gonna take a lot of time to build especially considering they are finally ditching the ancient gamebryo engine and making something new.

They upgraded gamebryo significantly for skyrim but it still has tons of issues especially in the memory department which is why it had such a hard time with ps3 and its split memory.

They will probably announce at e3 2015 with a holiday release that year. That is of course unless they do another elder scrolls game first which isn’t out of the realm of possibility since that series is their biggest money maker by far. I’d much prefer an elder scrolls game over fallout.
