As long as it’s taken, Fallout 4, when and if it does happen, better be something a thousand times more mind-blowing than the last two games. I know that’s a tall order, but I expect nothing less…

Perhaps the filing is a move on Bethesda’s part to keep fans from losing hope that there will ever be a Fallout 4. What this means to me is that Fallout 4 is still yet a ways away.

In all honesty this is a tease, there is no doubt in my mind that filing it now is just a to get a buzz going before the Game Awards. It doesn’t make sense to file it now, why not 4 years ago when the game was actually popular and fresh? I think what we’re seeing is a possible collectors edition item, or even just a companion app to go with the new game. Or if we’re really unlucky, just another item for them to throw up on their store.
