Just out of curiosity, why do you hate the Nemesis System?

The nemesis system wouldn't fit in Fallout unless it were strictly a revenge game like SOM. I think the better option would be to use a Nemesis like system for tracking factions and faction relations. Nemesis probably would have fit well in FO:NV but not FO3.

You stand alone there brother. I personally have played all the Fallout games and enjoyed them all. But personally Fallout 3 is my favorite. After that goes the Elder Scrolls series even the old ones. Not so much with Arena but still. Bring on new features that make the game better. If they dont, then dont bother

Fallout does not need to ad anything imho, what it does need is to stick with what made it great and refine and polish it, not ad some new features to appeal to ever broader audiences. How many times have we seen a good or even great game, start to suck bad after some developer decided to add something new, which ruined the core game setting, ambiance or immersion. Even the differences between the Original fallout and Fallout 3 or New vegas are there and they are very different games for it I personally hate the VATS system in FO3 its a gimmiky mechanic that adds nothing to the core game or setting.

I don't see a problem with it per say, but I would rather have a lot of other things addressed before adding something completely new. Upgrade the shooting mechanics, graphics (sort of a given on new generation of consoles), improve the third person perspective, improve crafting, and provide the ability to use vehicles as a method to get around. The vehicles thing was something that took me out of the narrative more than anything else because you have vehicles being used as part of the story and scenery, but can't actually operate them? That was stupid. Would have been better to only have busted up vehicles that was obviously scrap than a motorcycle sitting in front of a tavern looking like some NPC just stopped by on his cool ride.

cool thought but i don't personally think this would suit the fallout world much. I like the idea that you can have changes in the strengths of factions almost like the strength of faction reputations in new vegas however not the the extent of shadow of mordor. Also bethesda a while ago said or someone i can't recall said that loads of fans wanted less BOS vs super mutant everywhere but we'll se hopefully come june
