In reply to King Chibi. What article are you talking about? The one talking about their issues with it and being too realistic are from last year... since the trailer/announcements for the game by Square Enix its popularity has rocketed aka the point of it being top 3/5 in the above article.

The party system clearly remains which is why you can swap to control your other characters during battle with AI controlling the ones your not commanding (idk if you can give them orders to override, buts odds are you can AI actions and probably something like Tales/FF12 gambit AI settings too). The game is clearly much more open then FF13. They have stepped back into FF stylized lore/gameplay from the looks of things. The ability to swap characters, destructibles, swapping weapons on the fly, positioning, etc. are likely just the tip of strategy available in the new FF15. Your argument is silly. The only real complaint thus far is the complete lack of further trailers/info or just proper updates from Square Enix.

First they made these games very linear. After that it was make all the characters combat choices essentially the same. Next, removed strategy from the fights (walk through the whole game pressing a single button to win battles), Most recently they got rid of the party system.
Final Fantasy is NOTHING like Final Fantasy XV change the name of the series already. The only similarities have long been swept under the rug and forgotten about. Most of what has remained didn’t come along until part 4 anyway.
The Final Fantasy name is only to sell movies that pretend to be a game. Check out all the other failed RPGs that Square Enix has released in the past 15 years if you don’t believe me.

dude japan wasnt even excited about godliza. they said FF15 is dumb i saw the article on Famitsu how the japanese were all angry because its “realistic”. the only thing they are psyched about the most is mario kart.
