Final Fantasy 15 Lead Developer Resigns, Kingdom Hearts 3 Dev Explains How Frozen Will Be Incorporated

Would you like the good news, or the bad news?

A private source that is supposedly close to the online publication Nova Crystallis has confirmed that the lead designer of the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 15 has resigned and left Square Enix. Confirmation follows claims from Nova Crystallis saying, “private source close to Square Enix Japan has confirmed that Kentaro Yasui has indeed left.”

Square Enix is yet to make any sort of official comment on the situation and how (if at all) the departure of Kentaro Yasui will effect the development of FF 15. It’s strange seeing something so important being kept silent despite the companies stating they would be “more open with fans” regarding game development.

In other news, the co-director of Kingdom Hearts 3, Tai Yasue has spoken out on how he would like to include the characters of Disney’s latest smash hit, Frozen, into the Kingdom Hearts games if they were ever to do so. The Land of Dragons from Mulan features a snowy mountain that he said would be similar to what Frozen’s world would be like and it would include musical elements similar to those found in The Little Mermaid.

Personally, having not seen Frozen yet, I’m not too bothered by the idea of its characters joining the cast. But what about those that have seen the movie? Is this a good or bad thing?
