with the money cod makes, i’m surprised they dont release a new one every 6 months. its a money generator.

in terms of sports games, i blame the people who keep buying madden every time they are released. if they stop doing so, then ea would stop making them.

goood points here cod needs a break the sports genre definitely .. pokemon idk i dnt really care them anymore its same game over and over but may it can use a break hey w.e sells right give consumers what they want.. but the sports got boring to me having to keep up every year noo so i just stopp playing them ..

I’m just glad you didn’t mention final fantasy series like another person did on this topic. They’ve released 2 games in 5 years and they don’t make direct sequels so each game stands on it’s own anyway and it’s hard to get sick of the characters/world/etc… If they start pumping out FFXIII-2 and XIII-3 then you can say it. It’s just easy to ignorantly criticise it for being on it’s 13th game.

Totally agree on sports games, with modern consoles they could release once every 3 years and just do patches and updated releases with the patches included for those who don’t do online.

Call of duty though I disagree with. For the amount of hours people put in, once a year isn’t even enough. I’m utterly sick of the maps after 2 months. What they should do is go subscription based, forget singleplayer and just release new maps and updates and make it a complex system where you could have cod4 and mw2 and black ops gameplay on every different map and let fans make mods and maps and make them integrated into the system. It can’t be that expensive to make maps, it’s the main thing people buy the new cod for because the maps of the old one are worn out.
