Well, of course Ryse had SOME influence. Ryse influenced Crytek to close studios and stop paying people. I don’t know what any of that has to do with this game’s probable success though. Maybe because its not Ryse, and it’s not an Xbox exclusive, therefore it’s not being doomed to fail, it influenced them to not copy Ryse?
