That was my point the first comment was generalized and I established individuality in my statement on further replies. Just because you disagree with me doesn’t mean you have to argue this. I was saying that the “We” in his/her statement did not include me or the like minded is all.

Now for why make a comment? Because it is a comment section the same why you felt the need to reply to my comment it’s what this is for. The nonsense and the meaningful alike.

Call it what you want but I owe Ninty nothing and if my kids want good Ninty games they can go out and download/buy games from an era where Nintendo was worth the time.

Nintendo has only supplied me today with fond memories of distant past and only that so “I” personally don’t need it.

In reply to Gamingsince75. A noteworthy point which is excluded from the article above. Microsoft sells poorly in Japan, it doesn't mean that the Xbox is doomed. The UK has been one of Nintendo's weakest regional markets since Sega trounced them there generations ago, so Knack outselling Super Mario 3D World in the UK really isn't that much of a surprise.

Would anyone be surprised if Halo 5 sold poorly in Japan? No? Then you shouldn’t be surprised that Super Mario 3D World isn’t doing well in the UK. The UK has been one of Nintendo’s weakest regional markets since Sega trounced them there generations ago. Look at the global sales numbers. Super Mario 3D World has sold over twice the number of units as Knack. While the UK sales numbers certainly are newsworthy, I find this this article somewhat disingenuous in choosing to exclude any mention of global sales.

If they announce a couple more games and don’t delay their current future releases, then I can’t see the WiiU failing to the point of being dead by next christmas. The 3DS had an awful first year (not quite as bad as WiiU I realise) and that has become huge. I don’t quite see the WiiU having that big a turnaround, Nintendo poorly advertised it, released their big system seller at the worst time possible, and most ‘non-gamers’ still don’t realise it’s a whole new console.

Despite all of this though, Nintendo have system sellers like Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2 and Super Smash Bros. all on the way next year, they are huge chances for Nintendo to turn their luck around, if they release a few games like this sporadically throughout the year (and not just focus on christmas releases) then the WiiU will pick up sales. It’s a shame that Nintendo have to rely on 1st party almost entirely now, but that’s basically all they have.

Plus, if the WiiU was really going to die out, then Nintendo could just announce a true pokemon game on the WiiU…the world would go Nintendo crazy.
