Obviously Futuridium is not a performance heavy game for a next gen console, so on PS4 it was really easy to pull it off. And it&#039;s an awesome thing, since we can forget about performances, just focus more on gameplay mechanics and on reaching the desired visual style for the game.


Also we&#039;re a really small team, we are two guys, and it really blows our minds that we were able to publish a PS4 and PSVita game with just a team of two, and in the first year of PS4 on the market.
On TV we can&#039;t really go over 1080p/60, one of the thing we want to pull off is having a 3D TV version of Futuridium for PS4. It shouldn&#039;t be too hard to do but we are not committed to a timeframe for now.


On PSVita, just to clarify things: by &#039;full resolution&#039; I meant full PSVita display resolution, so 960x544. You can&#039;t go higher on PSVita. I enjoyed immensely working on Vita, but optimising Futuridium was quite hard: while the game as an easy visual style there are a lot of &#039;hard&#039; things to do. Like full realtime shadow on everything, literally thousands of colliders (physics is heavy!), big environments, a ton of polygons since we need to have a huge draw distance and some heavy post processing effects like the explosion ripples and the colour aberration going on full screen. So glad we pulled off an almost perfect 60fps, we are really happy on how the PSVita version turned on.
