UK game’s retailer GAME are trialling a new service that will let customers place pre-orders for pre-owned games. It sounds more confusing than it actually is; honest.
The idea is that you can place a pre-order for a game as you would normally but, rather than sending you a brand new copy, the store will send out the first used copy of the game that comes in. If it knocks a bit off the price tag, why not?
The service is only on a trial basis for now, but you can place pre-owned pre-orders for a number of high profile titles from the shop’s website, including: Crysis 2, Homefront, Dragon Age II, Shift 2: Unleashed and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. All these and more for a reduced RRP of £33.99.
Thanks to MCV for the info.
