Luckily I keep all my old computer parts so it as a easy fix. Holding out on the data bank for a little while to make sure there aren’t problems or recalls.

You can get a PS4 used on Facebook for an easy $250. I was going to say… if the only difference is the drive, that’s not really a selling point. Most people are skilled enough to swap the drive.

A NEW PS4 is under $400 so if this $480 you’re only saving about $30 from doing it yourself with NEW hardware and you’re missing the 500GB HDD that they took out of the system. Heck GameStop sell refurb 500GB PS4’s for $360 so it would be $10 cheaper just to buy that and add the 2TB HDD yourself (and you’d still have an extra 500GB HDD left over). This is a bad deal unless you REALLY, REALLY, don’t want to swap the HDD yourself.
