I can’t really tell them apart to be honest….
They still look the same just the colors pop more and picture just look a bit crisper.

Um incorrect …half life HDR was rendering
Hdr today is about color and picture quality …
Two totally different things here .

That’s interesting. PC has had “HDR” since Half Life: Lost Coast, which apparently is something very different from the consumer version we have now.

I have not bit on a 4K panel, yet. A question (or two) — have you played a regular XB1 or PS4 on the same 4K TV? How did the upscale image look?

let me be the first to say that while the media ignored the xbox one s being the first HDR console on the market , and overhyped the ps4 , ps4 slim and ps4 pro for having it, I can sit here today and tell you that after testing 2k17 on both ps4 and xbox one s
Sony version of hdr is …..I don’t know what it is but neither tv I tried recognize it as HDR…
