Should be “….the more fanatical of fans of the series are more likely to pick up, too.”
Since fanatical fans itself doesn’t make grammarical sense, since fan is shortening the word fanatic to begin with.
It’s like saying ATM machine.

I know it’s not the most important of things. I simply can’t help it. How do we stop and catch ourselves next time if it isn’t brought to our attention when we slip?
Anyway, I merely point it out as constructive criticism, not mocking.

I know I’m buying the game. But I’m old, when I think of statues I think of it being one more thing that needs to be dusted. I’m good with just the game.
