DX12 won’t do much to improve any performance or graphics…GT7 will have 60fps locked as well, it should be quite easy to accomplish I would think. PS4 already has some games locked at 60fps so I guess we’ll see. I also have an Xbox One along with PS4 and Wii U so it doesn’t matter what happens really, if I see a game I like I just buy it on the console I feel like playing it on. It’s just that ps4 is my fav system

We have locked 60fps. So yes will be interesting if they can match it.
And we never asked for DX12 to be used yet either. So we could ask for
Forza 7 to use it.

We’ll just have to wait til GT7 comes out. We’ll see how that goes then, but who knows?

Dynamic Rain would be great, like the rain in Driveclub, it looks real on the windshield, but the only races with lightning is endurance races,24 Huers Le Mans, I’ve never seen a real non-endurance race in thunder storms with lightning LOL!

Project Cars is too much game or not properly optimized for the PS4, depending on how you want to look at it. I’d rather play on PC.
Optimized exclusives is my main reason to game on PS4

Assetto Corsa also releases on consoles next year, will probably be make the wait for gt7 easier.

We never asked for dynamic weather and lighting.

Not true at all. GT6 sold less than 3 million copies according to a recent article stating GT as a series has sold 72 million total a huge number. Except. The last last 2 games account for 1/3 the series and account for 1/6 the sales. It’s also highly speculated the GT5 was postponed because of the release of Forza 3 which was a very impressive game in its time. I think it’s safe to say PD very much cars what Turn 10 puts out. Forza is considered the bench Mark for physics on console in the sim racer community.

I’m a huge sim racing fan pc and console. GT being one of my all time favourites. I logged hundreds of hours on PS1 and PS2. However the series on PS3 did not impress me. GT5 was a let down that took way too long to come to market. GT6 came after the launch of PS4. Overall release timing of this series has been horrible. I feel that has continued into this gen.

I do hope GT7 is as great as a game as it could be.
