back to March when NCsoft also announced that ArenaNet was preparing a
Guild Wars 2 expansion – which Anet promptly shot down with an “er no,
no we’re not, and we’ve got no plans to either.”

So while
there’s a chance this isn’t just a desperate attempt to drum up their
stock price and Anet really is preparing an expansion, it’s a good idea
to wait for the actual developers to make the announcement in case
NCsoft is putting the cart before the horse yet again.
