True Microsoft owns windows but Microsoft has been trying to break into the living room long before the Xbox came around.  Anyone remember WebTV?

If keeping games exclusive to their living room box helps them sell more of those boxes they will keep doing it.  They want to own the space just like Sony.  If you control the box that brings entertainment you make the money.]]></description>
