The “climax” of the story when both spartan teams finally meet up was really lame. “We’re here to warn you, Cortana..” “She’s dangerous I know.” “We’re here to help” …What? That’s it? Your orders were to return Chief to UNSC for disobeying orders and abandoning his post. And Spartan Locke’s motivation this entire time was to follow orders no matter what the cost.

Spending most of my time in campaign pressing down on the D-pad looking for ammo was extremely disappointing. Lack of split screen play is a major disappointment. Adding that the story lacks serious replay-ability, I know I’ll probably never play the campaign again after the first time through. If I had the option to play co-op on the couch with my friends or brothers, I certainly could re-live the story playing squad with my friends next to me. But online-only means I’ll never replay the campaign again.

Online multi-player is the best thing about Halo 5 for sure. It goes back to Halo’s roots. Gets rid of loadouts, gets rid of jetpacks/shields as a swap-able item you pick up, and goes back to good old fashioned Halo multiplayer.

Multiplayer is the only reason I still own my copy. If I soon find myself surrounded by professional Halo players dominating me on a round by round basis, you’ll soon find my copy on Ebay.

I don’t understand why anyone would care to hang around websites bashing every reviewer that doesn’t give their game of choice a 10/10. It seems to be a good game from what I read, and some fans (and all the fanboys) think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread, a day one buy, the best game ever…

Well, that’s fine, buy it, play it and be happy – you’re a winner! What in the world is the problem if someone else thinks it’s a good, just not a perfect game, what exactly does that take away from their personal gaming experience?

Or is it that people like me look at the reviews for halo 5 and decide that – for me – it’s not a good enough reason to buy the system? If so, why would anyone care? Gaming isn’t a religious concept, it’s supposed to be fun. Remember? FUN! As in “Enjoy yourself and don’t take everything so damn serious”. But no, let’s insult, threaten and harass everyone who states a different opinion instead…

They have been very aggravated last few days. I think they expected their fanboy behaviour justifier to be entitled to 10s across the board and when it turns out it isn’t the hottest game of the series, let alone the year, their reality backlash has sent them over the edge.

Go be a shill somewhere else then. 🙂

MGSV has had multiplayer for the last month and it’s the only place I can get 6v6 Team Sneaking.

Halo is yet another FPS. Watch the playerbase ditch it for COD in a week.
