Face it: this is a major disappointment and 343i is, yet again, screwing with what little fans they still have and also screwing with a beloved (now hated) franchise.

Halo: Spartan Assault is most likely the reason why it’s being delayed in the first place so to cover up that fact, they announced the Spartan Assault Surface giveaway to distract gamers from wondering about Halo 5 and the development hell it’s probably going through right now. It all makes sense, and also since Microsoft will also be at Gamescom next month, they’ll most likely give a much needed update as they barely revealed much about Master Chief at E3; if not then we’ll just have to wait until E3 2014 to actually know anything else about the game. Can’t deny the facts though; something’s going on at 343i and Microsoft isn’t saying just yet. I want the game so badly; they must improve on what they did with Halo 4 but not screw it up by taking it in an unwanted direction that fans will feel don’t fit Halo lore.
