Actually the standard ps4 has been verified to be able to output Hdr even though it is technically a 1.4 HDMI port. Techs tire it down to confirm. So standard ps4 will indeed handle hdr

It CAN’T show the benefit. The video is not HDR, my monitor is not HDR. YouTube is not HDR. If PS4 can do this phantom upgrade, then so can xbox.
