Here’s A Brand New TV Commercial for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

In Japanese.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker looks interesting, and at its price point of $40, enticing enough to pick up. The game offers a unique take on Mario’s traditional platforming design, by instead making the entire game a collection of environment navigation based puzzles. That said, it’s clearly not as easy of a sell as something like Mario Kart 8 or Super Smash Bros. is.

So Nintendo is already starting to advertise the game. In Japan, you can already find commercials for the game airing, one of which is right up there for you to see. Even if you don’t understand Japanese, and I know you don’t, don’t lie to me, there’s still some cool footage of the game to see.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker launches exclusively on the Wii U next month in North America. It has been confirmed to work with Nintendo’s upcoming line of NFC enabled Amiibo toys. Stay tuned for more of our coverage of the game as we approach its release.
