Hellblade is the new game that Ninja Theory is making, announced at Sony’s Gamescom conference, and presumably an exclusive to the PlayStation 4, at least to begin with. Although Ninja Theory have been unusually open about their development process since the announcement of the game, this is the first time we get to see more of the development of this new game itself visa this brand new development diary that they just released.
The new development diary talks about the game’s preliminary conception, motion capture, early development, and announcement, so if you are at all interested in what this new game will be bringing with it to the table, it’s actually a pretty good watch, and highly recommended.
Hellblade is going to be Ninja Theory’s fourth game, and the first one that they will be publishing and distributing independently. It seems to take a fair bit of cues from their debut game, Heavenly Sword, though Ninja Theory insists that it is not a spiritual successor to that game.
